International Regulatory Information Service (IRIS)

Climate change and energy efficiency are two primary drivers for the constantly evolving regulatory landscape, which affects AHRI members’ business operations around the world.

In order to offer value and business intelligence to our members, AHRI provides an International Regulatory Information Service (IRIS), which includes two tools: a list of web links leading to regulatory resources, typically government websites responsible for industry regulations, and a listing of government notices for proposed new regulations or amendments to current regulations. The listing of notices, typically originating from a WTO notification system, is country-specific, covering regulations such as minimum energy performance standards (MEPS), labeling requirements, test methods, enforcement, etc.
