We look forward to welcoming you to Washington, D.C., for the 2022 AHRI Spring Meeting – our first membership-wide, in-person meeting since 2019. You won’t want to miss this event, featuring meetings of the Industry Sector Leadership Councils as well as general sessions highlighting important policy, regulatory, global, and technical topics. Several certification, regulatory, and technical working groups also will meet to discuss sector- and product-specific issues. See registration information and major event highlights below.

Monday, May 23

Sector Leadership Council Meetings

Each sector leadership council (Applied, Heating, Refrigeration, Unitary) will look ahead to 2023 and beyond to identify the pressing issues that the industry must address to prepare for the future. The diversity of these groups, which include manufacturers of products and components from similar or related technologies, allows for a collaborative strategy discussion on the common and cross-cutting issues impacting each sector.

General Session: Breaking Down the 2022 Mid-Term Elections

8:30 a.m. – 10:15 a.m.

On November 8, will Republicans take control of the House? And the Senate? How will the President’s approval ratings impact Congressional races? What issues will matter most to voters? Where are the battlegrounds? Who will show up at the polls? Were the off-year Republican successes in Virginia and New Jersey a harbinger of things to come, or not? Will recent redistricting help the GOP or the Democrats or neither? To answer these questions, we’ll welcome our keynote speaker, Nathan Gonzales, Editor and Publisher of Inside Elections and an election analyst for CQ Roll Call. Nathan’s address will be followed by a panel discussion featuring Scott Segal of Bracewell, Matt Moon of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, and a staff member from the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. A Q&A session will follow.
