Everything you need to know about booking accommodation at the Marriott Marquis.
Nestled in the heart of Washington, D.C., the Marriott Marquis features a thoughtful blend of refreshed, contemporary surroundings and modern conveniences. The AHRI Policy Symposium group rate for a standard room is $379.00 per night, plus tax (currently 15.95%).
IMPORTANT: Due to reduced hotel room inventory at the Marriott Marquis, there is very limited availability within our group block on Tuesday, May 20 and Wednesday, May 21. We anticipate selling out those nights and strongly encourage you to book your hotel room early. If you are unable to reserve a room on the Tuesday or Wednesday night of the program, here are a few options to assist in securing hotels rooms for those nights:
FIRST: Secure your hotel room within the AHRI block for all nights leading up to Tuesday and Wednesday evening.
THEN: Secure a hotel room for Tuesday and Wednesday night at a close hotel of your choosing
Secure a room at a hotel near our AHRI headquarters in Arlington, Virgina at which AHRI has negotiated a preferred rate. These hotels can be found HERE and are located approximately 5 miles from the Marriott Marquis. AHRI will be monitoring the situation closely and will communicate if any additional rooms become available.
If you book a reservation at the Marriott Marquis at a rate lower than the $379.00 group rate through another outlet for the entire AHRI Policy Symposium, please notify AHRI Manager, Meeting and Events, Lauren Little – [email protected] - so that AHRI can receive credit for your booking.
Hotel guests may cancel their room reservation up to three days before their scheduled arrival date. Cancelation or reservation changes within three days before the scheduled arrival date will result in a cancelation fee equal to one night’s room and tax.
Check-in time is 4:00 PM; check-out time is 11:00 AM.
Hotel guests who check out before their confirmed checkout date are subject to an early checkout fee of one night’s room and tax. To avoid this fee, please ensure you confirm your departure date at the time of check-in.
The Marriott Marquis recommends taking a taxi or app-based ride service from Washington Reagan National Airport (DCA) or Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD). Metro is also available from DCA and IAD to the Mt. Vernon Square 7th Street-Convention Center (Green or Yellow Lines), which is located one block from the hotel.
Reservation Deadline
Reservations must be received on or before Friday, April 25, 2025. After this date, reservations can only be made on a space- and rate-available basis.
